Pilates Classes in our Dorchester Clinic

Pilates is ideal for anyone wanting to improve their body’s postural control and optimise muscle function around the joints of the upper and lower limb.

It is especially effective for lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain and hip and knee pain or for improving sporting performance.

Pilates is a gentle mat based progressive exercise regime that concentrates on precision of movement and control rather than strength or speed of movement and so is perfect for those who find movement difficult but at more advanced levels it will challenge even the highest level sports person.

We run clinical pilates classes in our studio taught by a qualified physiotherapist trained in Pilates by the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI). Our small group numbers allow for individual attention during your class but one to one sessions are available.
